The Man On The Motorcycle: Romain

Whilst visiting Sydney recently I was watching an incredible sunset with a friend from a popular lookout above Vaucluse when this guy pulled up next to us. Photographers dream of these moments.

Rayban sunnies, leather jacket, classic Triumph motorcycle and style for dayyyyyyys!

I had no hesitation in quickly heading over and asking to shoot his portrait in the incredible sunset lighting and he was super obliging. Turns out Romain was from France, working in Bondi and wanted to build his modelling portfolio! Sadly I wasn't in Sydney long enough to shoot something planned, but pretty happy with how these impromptu shots came out.

Thanks for your time Romain!

Portraits of a Style Blogger- Mary Tham

Mary Tham is a local Melbourne style blogger who was in need of some simple portraits of herself, and though its always somewhat intimidating photographing another photographer, we had a great time taking these shots- simple, clean, classic.

Goone Tribe Creations

I met Alex, the talented artist of Goone Tribe Creations at a festival in 2014. Recently we spent an afternoon photographing some of his amazing work down on the Mornington Peninsula where he is based. Every piece is hand crafted, unique and gorgeously detailed in a variety of quality leather and fixings. Absolutely gorgeous pieces, perfect for doofing all day!

Crystal Eyez

With a workshop based on the picturesque Mornington peninsula, surrounded by amazing forests and rugged coastlines, Crystal Eyez jewellery are created with painstaking care and true respect for nature.

I met their creator Kyra at Confest at the end of 2014 and was immediatley amazed by her beautiful work. She explains on her website "Each pendant has been beautifully inlaid with gemstones and crystals selected for their correspondence to the chakra system and the protective and healing qualities that they possess. Throughout ancient history as far back as Egyptian and Sumarian culture the pinecone has been used to symbolise divine consciousness and the attainment of mankinds spiritual enlightenment."

Here are some shots from a visit out to her workshop, you can see and purchase her work HERE and like her Facebook page.
